Joanne Palmisano is an interior designer specializing in the budget-friendly--mom & pop--the little guy--family run--hospitality industry: motels, hotels, vacation rentals, inns, bed and breakfasts, restaurants and more. She works with owners who want to refresh their properties, oftentimes within a modest budge range, with an amazing look, feel and uniqueness that is meaningful to their property and location.
Creating thoughtful spaces by mixing old and new while providing a comfortable place for modern travelers and clientele is what Joanne loves to do. She is helping re-define age-old and weary lodging locations, bringing them back to life with style and comfort that is not only affordable but awe-inspiring.
Joanne also loves to provide creative design collaboration services to design and architectural firms who are working on larger scale projects such as resorts, hotels, large motel projects.
She is a contributing designer for DIY Network, creating DIY rooms, products, and crafts with over 250 online projects, including an 8-part video series on Designing with Salvage.
She is the author of two internationally acclaimed interior design books, Salvage Secrets and Salvage Secrets Design & Decor, which allows her to travel, sign books, meet great people and speak across the nation. Her next book, Styling with Salvage, will be out in the spring of 2018.
As a Lifestyle/Prop Stylist for many companies, product lines, the hospitality industry and national magazines, she is granted the opportunity to bring spaces to life through propping and styling.
Joanne loves to travel.
