I am beyond thrilled and honored to announce Re.Curated, a collaboration between myself and Fireside Lodge Furniture for the boutique hospitality industry. A beautiful and thoughtfully designed furniture collection that is made with high-quality material, timeless craftsmanship, all made in the USA--a line of furniture that holds up to the rigors of commercial use, but leans towards a contemporary aesthetic and old-world charm— perfect for both hospitality and home.
Blending reclaimed wood with gorgeous locally sourced hardwoods, the designs in this collection are simple and elegant, letting the character of the wood tell the design story.
I hope you enjoy this brand new “re.collection” of hospitality furniture.
xoxo Joanne
The bedroom collection — reclaimed wood bed can be for any style. I’ve added a white-wash stain for those looking for a cottage furniture style — perfect for the beach house or a city farmhouse look. I hope you look at all the options in the catalog — and even better — you can customize it however you want!
HOW IT ALL BEGAN…
When I discovered Fireside Lodge Furniture, at High Point Market, I felt like I had struck gold. In the boutique hospitality design industry, it is a pleasure when you find quality pieces made in America. When you also find a company who is willing to work with you on custom designed pieces, has exceptional customer service and whose wholesale pricing is better then “off the shelf” commercial pieces, it is almost unheard of – a true find.
When the custom design furniture arrived at my client’s hotel, hundreds and hundreds of pieces, the exceptional craftsman on all the furniture pieces was the same—every piece was heirloom quality. And anyone in the interior design, procurement or purchasing industry knows, this combination is rare.
As an interior designer who specializes in using Reclaimed wood in my designs, it was a true delight to work with a company that uses both reclaimed wood (from old barns) to local wood species. When Fireside reached out regarding a collaboration, I knew I could stand-behind this family-owned company, from their building practices, core values, reuse and environmental policies, and talented craftsman and women.
I enthusiastically said yes.
I am beyond thrilled and an honor to put my name on Re.Curated, a Re.Collection designed in collaboration with Fireside. It is a mix of old and new, modern and rustic.
Beyond thrilled to design furniture built to last using reclaimed barnwood — saving the history and our resources, while designing built furniture pieces. Thank you Fireside for letting me play in your warehouses!

What a JOY! to work with talented craftspeople in this new boutique hospitality furniture line — built with love and pride, right here in the USA.
The result of the thoughtfully designed pieces is a timeless chic look with a strong dose of old world charm. A beautiful line of furniture that is built to hold up to the rigors of commercial use, blending character, warmth and functionality, perfect for home or hospitality use for those whose style is both reclaimed and contemporary.
This bespoke modern contemporary furniture line uses both reclaimed barnwood and locally sourced wood, made in the USA by exceptional craftspeople at a price point that we can all be comfortable with.

In my latest salvage design book, Styling with Salvage, there is a page called, My Design Manifesto. Here is snippet of it: It’s important to have an appreciation for quality materials and furnishings that are built to last. It’s imperative not to be wasteful. And it’s all about finding and keeping things that have meaning to us. Reusing whenever we can, albeit, salvaged pieces or materials or new products made from recycled material. When purchasing new products, that we know they are good quality products made by people who are rewarded for their work.
When I first approached, Fireside Lodge Furniture, to help me on a large hotel project, I had no idea this journey would take us here, my very own furniture collection, and that the Fireside Lodge Furniture family, would help me fulfill my own design manifesto.
Love to see the pieces in place, this is how the journey started… creating custom pieces for the amazing Clay Brook Hotel and Residences at Sugarbush in Vermont.
